Patricia in Zurich, Switzerland!

Wonderful!!! My lovely Patricia sent me a postcard from the most beautiful country in the world, a.k.a. my third hometown, Switzerland!!!!!!! Patricia wrote in perfect Mandarin, and told me that she already missed the feelings to speak Chinese everyday. "My German became fluent again immediately after my return. Good?"

You always have chances to come back using Mandarin, you see? And you're ALWAYS welcomed to write back, to phone back, and the best: to VISIT again in the days to come. I miss you, my 3-year-apart twin sister. Hope all the best!!!

Even in ChingHai青海, China!

Lucky Even went for a trip again. This time she visited Nepal, Sichuan, Tibet, Chinghai, Sian, Shanghai, and she sent me postcard from Tibet (not yet arrived) and this one from Chinghai.

I bet this is your first postcard from Chinghai! Yeah, Chinghai is not such a convenient place to go around. The QingZhang Railway has helped a lot to improve that situation. Otherwise I believe it'd be less visited than today. And guess what? It's only August, but it's quite cold here already for their "fall."

I am ALWAYS so into Even's travel stories. So I also sincerely invite you to visit her site (Mandarin) at: http://even54.pixnet.net/blog Trust me, you will know what "adventurous" really means after you see her stories. Thanks for the lovely postcard again!!!

Nina(CN) in Virgin Island, US!

My IMC roommate Nina went to St. Thomas for a sunny holiday.

This colorful, exciting and sometimes dangerous world is SO DIFFERENT from where I were in Chicago and where you are in Taipei. In order to combat this, we should work harder and harder in our normal times! 親愛的,加油!

親愛的,一起加油! Love you~

Wendy in Beijing, China!

愛從鳥巢寄出,給我最愛的家人
Love sent from the Nest to my beloved family!

By pure accident, I went to Beijing for a business trip for G. During my visit inside the Olympic Nest, I bought several postcards, wrote them and then efficiently sent it out via the Nest Postal Office. All 1121 Church folks received one, so did my family. Cool!

Photo album of Beijing trip Jun 30- Jul 7: see HERE

Meow from Taipei, Taiwan!

It's Meow's cat, as cute and smart as my Pipi. Cats ALWAYS know where to hide or to sit. The scene in this postcard was the time during winter when it jumped onto the top of the water steamer and got the warmth from the steam.....

"It's so smart! But how come it spent all time sleeping........ XD" Meow said.

Well, it's kitty....... I guess, typical kitty. :)

Ingrid & Angela in Paris, France!

Ingrid and Angela went for a trip, again =.= (SO envious.....)

"No, we don't want to go back to Taipei no more. Great food, great accomodation, great view day & night; any photo could be spectacular from any angel!!!" They said, jointly.

Meow in Taipei, Taiwan!

This is the first postcard from Meow, one of my Plurk friend. She replied my postcard that bought in Tunisia using this hand-made photo postcard she took in Mexico. These mailboxes are amazingly colorful and cute, don't you think so?

Thanks! By the way, I love your cute handwriting :)

Zhaoyang(CN) in Hawaii, US!

Aloha Wendy!

It's been 5 days in Hawaii and I could appreciate the amazing natural beauty, the kind, passionate and bright people every single day. Sincerely would love to share these with you!

....Hope someday I could be there visiting your homeland, and you'll be my guide.

This postcard is called "Memories of WAIKIKI." Upon receiving it, although I didn't really have any memories in Waikiki, I felt like I did. And hey, it'll be my pleasure to be your guide, if you do come. :)

Wawa in Taipei, Taiwan!

Wawa sent me this, and she happily told me that she was so excited about sending me a postcard using only NTD3 postage: "This meant that you are back in Taiwan! How exciting!"

This postcard felt Japanese but was actually produced in France. Wawa was right that this postcard brought some wonderful feeling to life in a quiet way, "but it made life much more relax and free in a way!" She said. What a lovely girl :)
